The fix is to consolidate cables, eliminate redundant chargers, and accept that one of the two devices is not actually needed for the trip.

Eliminate device redundancy.

Laptop OR tablet, not both. If you can do the trip work on a tablet, leave the laptop. If not, leave the tablet.

Two phones almost always means one personal and one work. Pick one if possible. If not, share one charger between them.

Consolidate cables.

Use a single multi-port USB-C charger that handles every device. Most modern devices charge over USB-C now.

One charging brick + 2 cables (USB-C and Lightning if needed) replaces 3 to 5 chargers.

Wireless beats wired for travel.

Wireless earbuds in their case take less space than a wired pair plus the case to keep them from tangling.
